I think he might be security, though he looks more like he should be in a band. Maybe he's a friend? I love how he's just dragging Elijah along by the wrist. The black guy at the back is definitely security. He's got that don't mess with me vibe.

He's probably used to it, to a certain extent, but I also think that the photographers are a bit more aggressive (rabid, even) than they are over here. He's probably not accustomed to that sort of persistence!

Goodness. That's definitely the life of a celebrity. It does though seem the photographers are more aggressive in this photo shoot, but at least he doesn't seem upset by it.

oh is this in the UK? that should explain it. Ive no idea what these awards are or if lij is only there solely cuz of Pam/GB or if he has any other involvement. I always hear Brits say the UK razzi are loads worse than the US ones, which boggles my mind cuz the razzi are [i]hounds[/i] here (the US). so that explains them being all up in the car's window.. i thought it odd cuz he's usually not hounded like this. I still think it's odd.. is Lij big in the UK? I mean big for him? I still am baffled the razzi would think his pix/his pix w/his gf would make them enough $ to go after him like that..

"I really think Pam could use some advice from a stylist though" well I don't really see anything wrong w/how she dresses/is styled. but I don't care about such things :shrugs: I always feel there are far more important things in the world to spend so much time on so I don't dress up often at all. just not my thing. maybe she feels the same way. i've no clue. or maybe it's her own personal style. hell, pam is usually more dressed up than i ever am lol. I wear for comfort, not for what people will think of how i look, and I'm glad I do :) I think she looks ok here, I like this better than some other stuff she was wearing in the past lol. the dress is a bit old-fashioned looking (or maybe that's in right now?) but i dont really care. i think she can pull off the color ok. from the little anyone can gather about Pamela, I don't think she's obsessed about her looks & I like that about her :) I dont think she's really a celebrity & I really only think of celebs & rich ppl as being able to afford stylists. sorry to go on lol I just have strong feelings about this kinda thing. not re: pam, but just re: the subject of appearance in general :)

I'm sure Lij isn't used to it, and I sure pray the razzi stay the hell away from doing this to Lij. I see how it affects Britney & the like.

ok, that window must be either huge or sth..cuz from the thumbnails it looked like the razzi were inside the car/cab LOL. the space there does look very spacious tho! more spacious than I've ever seen. I kinda wish pam (and him when he's doing it) would not overtly touch him when the razzi are so plainly going after them though..it just makes me worry that that would encourage the razzi to go after them more :\ I'm genuinely surprised that the razzi is going after Lij in this way. and not happy. I don't want him to have to go through that again. believe me I've seen far too many Britney/etc celebs who go through this all the time. I DON'T want lij to even come close to having to go through that, even on a small scale.

It's so cute how Pam is sort of grooming him in one picture and the way she has her hand on his thigh in the others.

She does wear surprisingly modest clothes sometimes. And very casual, just like Elijah. Not pretentious.

Elijah does look a bit overwhelmed by all the paparazzi. He seems to be blushing.

Yeah, maybe he is blushing. But he blushes a lot. I think he does look rather uncomfortable though. I remember him saying in the early days of going out with Pam that he didn't want to say who she was for her sake, he was worried about her. Perhaps that's what he is thinking of there. Perhaps he saw it coming, the commenting on her looks and what have you. The feminist in me is protesting that women are so often judged solely on their looks and style.
So...Regardless of what Pam wears and how she looks, we all hope they are happy and that they are good for one another, right? And by saying this I hope I haven't broken the rules of elijah_finds.

Thanks Bunnie - I don't know what the NME awards are but am always glad to see pics of Elijah!! Looks like they were sharing a joke in the car - looks like he did well with all the craziness of the razzi. I guess he must be kind of used to it at events like this - I would imagine it would be harder to deal with if he was just out and about in his normal life. That's the same outfit he had on in Alex's pics - just changed the shirt!! Wonder if he will show up as a fashion DON'T in the mags? But we love him no matter what!!

People, these aren't photos that were taken in a private situation. They were taken at a public event, they're not "regular" paps pics. I don't think Elijah is in any danger of ending up like Britney & Co. He's not looking particularly haunted or something either.

But I agree that there is no chance in a million years that he will end up like Britney or Lindsay; the press don't find him that interesting. Probably because he is way too normal. :)
