newleaf31.livejournal.comElijah's one of several American film experts who will do a bit of judging in the finals of New Zealand's V48 Hours film competition, in which filmmakers have only 48 hours to make a film short, from creation to execution. Apparently Peter Jackson is a real driving force behind this annual contest. No word about whether Elijah's planning to actually be in New Zealand for the awards on 30 June.
"I am really honored to be asked to be a Judge for the V48 and I'm looking forward to seeing what mad talented kiwis can get up to in just one weekend," the Hobbit actor said.
