Thanks -- I really do appreciate hearing that. I don't like coming down on people, but sometimes the negativity (or the threat of it) just gets to me. It's hard to both be as lenient as possible and still keep things under control.

You do a fine job, bunnie. It's usually just one or two people who curdle the milk (inadvertently or not), so the speak, on any community. And playing watchdog is never easy, and usually thankless. Being a mod myself, elsewhere, I know how hard it can be to have to dole out a bit of discipline. You do it very well, imho. :-)

yknow thats not fair to come down on ME really harshly like that to be fair maybe people should come down on those ones that gush so much as far as I can see from my point of view there is alot of leniancy there as opinions are biased as most of you favor this woman. if people dont want any comments of pam why have her in our faces in a whole thread?????plastered everywhere. your right this is an elijah comunnity. so lets leave pam out of it then if this truly an elijah community..It wasnt a personal comment against her anyway so ive done nothing wrong it was a fashion related opinion if its not welcome why is her and her pictures welcome..???? you cant blame people commenting off topic if you are also going to show something thats a little off topic.*breathes*

nobody came down on you harshly at all. you said in an earlier post that this wasn't a Pamela community so why were people talking about her and then you go on to talk about her. I think it's fair to question why you would do that.

her pictures are being posted in here solely because Elijah is in the fotos with her, if the Pope were in the fotos with him they'd be posted too.

I am not going to stop people from posting photos of Elijah just because Pamela is in them (and those are not off topic, anymore than a photo of Elijah and another friend or co-star would be). I would like to think that people here are mature enough to just deal with the fact that he spends time with her. You're right, this is an Elijah community, and I would rather that people only talk about him. But, someone is always going to feel the need to comment on her when she is also in the photo. It's just human nature. I just ask that it be kept to a minimum and also as neutral as possible.

And if you think I only call people on the negative comments, you are wrong. I also call people on the positive ones, though I let some of each kind slide by because they don't seem serious enough to bother with, and I just can't be constantly telling people to behave, or this would not be a pleasant place anymore. I even deleted an entire entry tonight, because it was just a photo of Pamela from Alex's blog, and I felt that it was too Pamela-oriented to be considered on topic. I also knew that it would most likely start some kind of flame war, so I just stopped it before it got that far.
