Gosh I wish I had the knowhow and technology to do something clever like that. It makes me feel very inadequate but never mind, I can enjoy what you have created and it was a lovely tribute. The many talents and faces of a wonderful guy. Many thanks.....
Thanks guys! I have been so happy all day, just wanted to get home from work and get into Le celebration propre as it were, and it's been wonderful, sipping some wine, putting pics together... The song is from an album that Elijah recommended on his blog, and that I have since become obsessed with. He has the best taste in music!
That was fantastic and you got his characteristics just right, I can think of a couple of things to add to the tribute - the one jacket/scruffy boots/striped shirts he goes through these moments with items of clothing and a cigarette!
Oh yeah! Of course. See, I tend not to notice what people wear, although The One Jacket cannot be denied... so I never thought to do that. One could have a lot of fun cutting together an Elijah Men's Wear Collection, I imagine.
That was really nice! I love that you ended it with him smiling/laughing--that's my favorite part of him. But I sure like all the rest of his personality too!
Thanks sweetie! I was actually trying to make one called Elijah's Laughter, working with video clips and music, about two weeks ago when I just got my new computor. Imagine my surprise when I noticed the title of your LJ page!!
I didn't finish the video because the material I found and wanted to use was mostly at YouTube. I did manage to download and convert from there (it can be done by using iTube), but after all that compressing the quality was awful so I had to abort mission... There used to be other places where one could find interviews and stuff, right? other than YouTube?
that was great! i love the music too! the dork. the thinker. the goofball. the chewer. the photographer. the music nut.... all wrapped in a skinny, 5'6" frame!
That was fantastic! I love the quirky music you used. Just fits Elijah's dorky image so well. And I love the way you presented so many aspects of his character that we love so much. Great video!! Thanks so much for sharing it here.
