Elijah on The Tonight Show with Conan O'brian

For those of you in the UK .. just in case there's any confusion -

The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brian with guests ELIJAH WOOD and Mila Kunis will be on CNBC - channel 505 tonight September 2nd at 11pm. Elijah's appearance was moved forward a day in the US, so although listings still show him as appearing on the 3rd in the UK, i would imagine logically he should be on a day earlier in the UK too.

Wasn't it a wonderful interview!!! I loved it. He was so funny and animated and happy, and of course, he looked SO lovely!! That suit was gorgeous!

He very nearly told us what the other choices of dances were, if Conan hadn't interrupted.. i'd love to know.

I loved the interview but kept cringing when Conan would interrupt him - esp. when he was about to talk about some of the other dance choices he was given on You Gabba Gabba. I just wanted to strangle Conan!!

But Elijah looked great and happy and so animated as always - he really was just glowing and exuding all the things we love about him!!

It was a lovely interview, but like you, I found it annoying each time Conan interrupted Elijah. Elijah never interrupted him, I notice, and he stopped speaking immediately Conan cut in... Elijah has manners!

Elijah was great, happy and looking very good in that suit, etc. :-)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!!! Every time I've seen Lij interviewed by Conan he's (Conan) driven me mad with his constant interrupting!! These interviews are short enough and we want to be able to actually hear answers to questions - not have to watch Conan's silliness. I don't dislike the guy - but I really don't think he's a good interviewer, much too fond of the sound of his own voice!! I wonder if it even slightly got to Elijah this time - after one interruption he says "I was going to say ..."!!

I just watched it again.. on TV.. yay!!! ( what is it about tv that makes it so special..) I made my son sit through it too.. lol! I loved every second.. *sigh*

Conan.. He's always been SO full of himself.. i know it's his show and he has to be THE star.. but i can't stand him.. he doesn't give his guests fair play. I wanted to strangle him too... hey, just realised.. watching on TV here in the UK.. they didn't mention Yo Gabba Gabba at all. How odd. I wouldn't have thought that it would have been cut, but it was.

But you're right.. Elijah looked wonderful.. happy and animated and definitely 'glowing'.. totally fabulous!!

It was such a wonderful show.. i adored every minute of it. He looked so good.. maybe he didn't go with the tight tee and jacket that we would have drooled over, but he looked really cool in that suit!! And wasn't he so 'happy'.. much more animated than we've seen him in a while. I loved it!

Thanks so much for the link or I wouldn't have seen it unless it came on You Tube, cos I can't get that channel, I don't think. It's not on Freeview is it? If not I wouldn't be able to see it, so I'm very grateful for the link!

Elijah looks gorgeous in that outfit, he is happy, relaxed and radiant :-) He speaks so well and is very interesting to listen to, as always. And so well-mannered, even when Conan interrupted him several times, often just when I wanted to hear what Elijah was going to say, eg. his choice of dance on Yo Gabba Gabba...

Couldn't wait - watched it!!! So glad I did too - I'm sure I've been going round with a constant smile on my face!! Wasn't he just absolutely adorable? Liked the bit about 'Equus' - I can so sympathise with him, must be quite embarrassing!! I do hope we get a download - but I've sorted out a dvd disk for tonight and checked that it's recording ok. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is that my husband will be watching too. I know he'll have something to say about The Dance:D

You're on cable, right.. so maybe it won't happen with you, but for some reason they left out the whole 'yo gabba gabba' section when i watched on tv tonight. I wonder why!!

I've had a smile on my face ALL day.. and you should have seen me when i came in from work tonight.. i was literally bouncing ..lol! I'm glad i watched the videos this morning.. at least i could be relatively 'composed' when i watched tonight on tv with my son. I gave him a choice. Go do something else, or watch with me.. he watched, amd didn't say a word :/

Lij looked great, and it would have been nice to hear everything he was saying. I don't watch Conan because he is horribly rude. Johnny didn't do that and nether did Jay; at least not to the degree Conan does.

I find Conan irritating too.. i hate the way he interupts all the time. I don't watch him much, does he do this with other guests too? But yes.. i agree.. Lijah looked wonderful!!!

you know i think its wonderful that he still hangs out with the other lotr guys... im an orli fan too and i always wondered whether they were still close. for all the paparrazi pics you get of orli on beaches im surprised they weren't any of this surfing thingy.

I missed all the camaraderie between them during the LOTRs crazy trail... i got into this fandom way too late. But i think it's wonderful that they're still in touch, and still refer to themselves as 'hobbits'.. and an Elf..lol!

was it me or did it look like his biceps were busting out of his suit sleeves? Wonder if this is a new suit or something he's had...don't get me wrong thought he looked great though I do prefer him in darker colors...

He just appeared "filled out"...

I too loved the "this guy thinks he knows what I look like naked" bit, followed by his quiet..."I don't know how comfortable I am with that".

Also was perturbed by Conan interrupting...I wanted to know what the other dance choices were....That puppet master is down right scary...

it wasn't just you. i sat there and stared at his arms and thought boy, oh boy, oh boy! i wish he had flexed his muscles instead of the girl. *g* his whole ensemble looked new and we all know what hangs in his closet. lol!
