Wanted: Name of Photographer....

Greetings, Elijah fans!

I have a question (again) to pose to you EW/LotR experts out there.

Does anyone know who took the series of super portraits for LotR of EW
and Ian McKellen, in costume and in character?

I am sure you all know these pictures, but I'll provide a couple of
thumbnails to click as samples:


















At elijahfan.com there are pages of these, including many with watermarks.

Here's one with the watermark on it. As you can see, it says "arc" and "jbg".






Does anyone know who the photographer was for this excellent shoot?

I would love to be able to give him or her credit when I am posting these,
or using them for Frodo manips.

I know that Pierre Vinet did the set and portrait photography for LOTR (and most of PJ's other films), so perhaps these are his? He did those wonderful b&w portraits of the cast. I don't know for sure, though!

Thank you, Ladysnaps. I had actually looked at this gallery after I got Bunnie's reply. I saw the Gandalf-and-Frodo shots that you linked, but noted that there was no credit to Vinet (or anyone) after those shots. Vinet was credited on all the other production stills on the page.

To be sure, I emailed the site, asking who the photographer was. Silly me! I went to the next gallery page....

...and saw two solo shots of Gandalf the White. They are publicity stills, shot in a studio, just like the Frodo with Gandalf the Grey images. These two Gandalf the White studio shots do list Pierre Vinet as the photographer. So you are certainly right.

I suppose I should email them again and say, "Never mind."
