Pic Info Help

When searching for a pic for Tristanpaulus a week ago I came across the pic below which I had filed in my Two Towers LA Premiere Folder. I realised this must be from a different event because of their clothes. Can anybody help me please? I think it MIGHT be from the Two Towers Premiere but I'm not sure as almost all of my pics are from that event are from the press conference and not from the actual red carpet. Thanks!

That would be from TTT premiere in Paris. Afterparty, I suppose. :)

LOL OMG! I burst out laughing when I saw these pics. I've never seen them before. Not only do I think the suit is hideous, but it totally doesn't fit him.

Would you happen to know if the long black coat with the red shirt (DAG 2004) and green velvet suit (GGA 2004) were his own or do you think they were loaners? I suspect the latter because those events are the only times he wore them, as far as I know. And we all know he wears clothes over and over. (Brown corduroy blazer, scuffed shoes...)

For what it's worth I have a folder of pics filed under "American Cinematheque" where he's wearing the long black coat and red shirt also. So maybe he did own it (and hopefully gave it away! :D )

Hmmm, you could certainly be right. He has said he likes to shop in stores that have vintage clothing and that black coat certainly looked vintage. I think it's the red shirt that stood out for me. Elijah looks wonderful in red.

I've never seen that photo you posted. I wonder why he's so dressed up and Sean is in jeans.

The American Cinematique and the DG Awards 2004 were the same day! Looks like Elijah decided to get dressed a little earlier than Sean ;)

Ooh and I should add I think (though I might be wrong) he may have worn the jacket of the green velvet suit to the Edinburgh Film Festival in 05. I used to think it was a black velvet jacket he wore until one pic showed up its green tinge. Plus he has a range of different coloured velevt jackets so I always had thought he probably did own the green velvet suit too.

ladysnaps did an entry last year of Elijah in all his different velvet jackets. It's quite amazing how many he has.

I'm pretty sure he owns this one, because he wore it one of the years he was at Mardi Gras in New Orleans - the year Sean was Bacchus, I believe.

As for the long black coat, I don't know; I don't think I ever saw him wear it anywhere else. The green suit fit him really, really well, so I've always sort of hoped he owned that one, but as he's never worn it again (that I can recall), I don't really know.

It probably was made for someone else. Most actors get suits from designers or the studios when they go to premieres. Remember the enormous suit Billy Boyd wore at the ROTK Wellington premiere.
