I love the series of pictures that show him in this line.

Elijah has stated over and over again that he doesn't let his celebrity status dictate his actions / his life. He wanted to see this 'Star Wars' movie at the earliest opportunity, so he would have to join that line, it's as simple as that. (Any other Hollywood star would probably have found a way around it, demanding special treatment and tickets just for being a celebrity !)

And so Elijah joined the line, being full aware that he would have to spend hours in the company of people who probably all would recognise him (given that they are all science fiction / fantasy fans), and probably would all try to bother him. There was a veritable danger of him getting mobbed there ! I don't see any security person standing around for Elijah here, do you ?

And this is why I love this guy so much ! He refuses to act differently just because of his celebrity status, he's geeky about Star Wars (and Star Wars collectibles ;o) ) just like the rest of us might be, and he behaves / acts just like 'normal' people would do, he's very humble and down-to-earth - but we all knew that about him, didn't we ?

I SO agree with what you say about Elijah's lack of celebrity status.. It's what makes him all the more adorable..don't you think! I can still see him now..at Harrow, having lunch with the rest of us 'mere mortals' on the crew bus!! No special treatment for him!

I have seen this before and wondered whether he was having a catnap or just thinking. As Karin says he appeared to have no security around him, apart from Sean that is, and was free to be his normal self. Sadly I doubt he could do this now as security seems tighter. Or is that just for public events I wonder?

Security does seem to have tighened around him a lot more lately..but you could be right, and that's just for public events..His management would be sure to be careful about keeping him 'safe' from his adoring public o^O..but for events like this it may be different. Look at the recent sighting of him at the recording of GB on the Kimmel show..no sign of secrity there! Like Karin says above , and which i wholeheartedly agree with.. "he doesn't let his celebrity status dictate his actions / his life"

I knew nothing about this event..so thanks for this!

As Karin so eloquently puts it..that's one of the things i love most about this extraordinary guy too..his lack of 'star status'.. 'A Star is a ball of gas in the sky'..he once said when he was young.. i believe that still holds true for him today!
