After passing through Sitges with the remarkable Maniac and receive the The Time Machine award for his forays into the film world with creations as terrifying as his character in Sin City or his participation in undervalued movies like The Faculty, Elijah Wood, where discovered us that he had founded a production company specializing in this genre called The Woodshed, now he returns to produce and participate in one new Leigh Whannell, actor but mainly writer in  films directed by his partner James Wan, who rose to fame thanks to Saw saga, and left movies as interesting as Dead Silence or Insidious, all of them written by Whannell.

This time, however, the debutant director Ace Norton, will take us to a primary school where a strange virus will transform the pre-teens who pullulate there in a pack of savages. From that moment, an unlikely hero will have it out with those monstrous students while trying to save a motley group of teachers.

Ultimately, Cooties, that's how the film will be called, can not look better, and if it brings us people like Wood, whose Maniac has surprised in Sitges, or Whannell, who gave a good turn to stories about haunted houses with Insidious, better than better.

Now, will begin to know more details through its casting or first images, which hopefully they will not take time to arrive.
