Defamer linked to this AOL Teen style site for the 20 ugliest celebrities,  poking fun at Niki Hilton, I read the commentary about her, and was in need of a good laugh, so I took a look at the site and lo and behold guess who landed at number 12...

...I can't quite tell if it;s a joke site or not. if not it was at the very least compiled by/written by preteens. most of it is pretty silly.

I understand why he is in this ranking.
Seriously he sometimes looks worst with a lot of public photo.Sorry my taste..
He has a strange hairstyle, strange clothes, a strange expression, and a strange beard in many public photo.
I think that some teen judge him with those public photo.Because his career avoids spotlight, many teen judge him from such public photo.

Elijah is not ugly category usually.

Well! The only good part of that was that whoever doesn't rank him in the looks department at least acknowledges he's a terrific acting talent. They've chosen a particulalry 'goofy' pic of him too which doesn't help! It's very hard to tell at this stage just how well or badly Elijah will age although smoking isn't going to help him one little bit! To me his face is unique and I love his mouth even more than his eyes. Ah well! This is not the first time he has been described as ugly and I doubt it will be the last but if he is indeed ugly then there's little hope for the rest of us!!!!! Off to stock up on paper bags........

Whatever people might think about Elijah's looks, is beside the point really I think. This whole stupid exercise is bitchy, mean-spirited and a pathetic attempt to get laughs while making the writers seem cool to their teen audience. I guess a lot of teens go through a really stupid phase where they get a nasty joy out of this kind of thing, maybe because many of them end up on the receiving end of this kind of nastiness. Hopefully they grow out of it. It's just a pity that websites aimed at teens exploit their insecurities like this.

Tom Cruise was in at number 2, and he isn't exactly ugly either. I suspect the list is more to do with who is in or out of vogue at the moment, and that Tom is there more for his beliefs and actions than his looks, and elijah becuase he doesn't do the expected 'star' thing (Thank God).
