These are clips of Elijah arriving at the 2005 Independent Spirit Awards. I've uploaded them to YouTube so that you can preview them, but I won't leave them there for long as they're very clearly copyrighted. If you'd like to save them, I've included links to right-click-save the higher-quality downloads:
Getting out of his Mini
Download here (.mp4 file, 3.14MB)
Entering the photo-op area
Download here (.mp4 file, 3.26MB)
Finishing up with the photographers
Download here (.mp4 file, 2.72MB)
Sure wish I knew what made his eyes water before he entered the press area. And I love his casual poise in front of all those yelling photographers. :)
Also, if you would like the high-quality download of the clip from Sundance that Karin posted (complete frame with watermark), you can right-click-save that one here (.wmv file, 797K).

Box Office Update
Jun. 3rd, 2007 05:35 pm![[identity profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/openid.png)
Paris, je t'aime expanded another 21 theatres to 79. Woo! It took an estimated $387,000 this weekend, bringing its North American gross to $1,409,000. Its PTA is falling a little (it was $4,898 this week) but it's still pretty healthy. I think it's doing quite nicely.
There was a press release around last week from First Look:
"I am thrilled with the early box office success of PARIS, JE T'AIME," says Co-chairman, Henry Winterstern. "First Look always believed in the film and the May release date proved to be good counter-programming to the summer blockbusters. I am confident with our continued support, along with positive reviews and word-of-mouth; the film will continue to attract audiences nationwide throughout the summer."
So, they seem pretty happy that it's doing as well as they kind of expected it to do. Not a break out hit but a good, solid enough result for an indie movie. It also implies it's going to roll out around the country little by little so it may appear at art house cinemas without very much press (i.e. if you are in the US or Canada, keep checking you local cinema listings).
All figures: BoxOfficeMojo

ELIJAH'S SAUCE INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT
Jun. 3rd, 2007 06:40 pm![[identity profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/openid.png)
There have been posts here with a clip of Elijah on The Sauce on 4/30/07. That clip is for the very end of the interview. Since I am not able to upload the whole interview I have made a transcript of the part of the interview that hasn't been posted. I stop the transcript where the clip you've seen starts (just because of time constraints). I thought it was a great interview - and although I know that reading this won't be as good as seeing it with all his wonderful facial expressions and listening to his lovely voice - I thought you might be interested in seeing his answers to some very interesting questions about Day Zero and gaming and music.
NOTE: NO SPOILERS ABOUT ELIJAH'S CHARACTER - 1 SMALL SPOILER ABOUT CHRIS KLEIN'S CHARACTER IN DAY ZERO
