MTV2 premiere of "Apples in Stereo" Vid directed by Elijah

PR) MTV2 will premiere “Energy,” the first video off The Apples In Stereo’s upcoming album New Magnetic Wonder. “Energy” marks the directorial debut for actor Elijah Wood who will also release the Apples new album New Magnetic Wonder on his label, Simian Records (co-released and distributed via Yep Roc Records/Elephant 6/Redeye Distribution). For fans who are eager to see the video prior to its on-air premiere on MTV2’s Subterranean on January 14th, MTV2.com will host an online debut on Friday, January 12. To check out the video online go to (www.mtv2.com)

Paris je t'aime available on DVD in France

I discovered that Paris je t'aime has just been released on DVD in France - you can find it at Amazon.fr for example. It's a 2-disc collector's edition and according to the listing, it includes among other things a 2-hour Making Of, as well as a featurette on Elijah's segment - from what I get it's about the special effects though (Séquences animatique de "Quartier de la Madeleine" réalisé par Vincenzo Natali - someone who speaks better French than me correct me if I'm wrong), so I have no idea how much Elijah might be in it.

I believe we had a DVD release date for Happy Feet in the UK for March 26, and it appears that we in the US will get it one day later.

Extras will include: "Two new fully animated sequences (Mumble Meets a Blue Whale and A Happy Feet Moment)," a "Dance Like a Penguin: Stomp to the Beat feature," "Two music videos (Gia's Hit Me Up and Prince's The Song of the Heart)," and the classic cartoon - "I Love to Singa."

Coolness. I wonder if I should hold out for the inevitable collector's edition...
