New Elijah Sighting

Found this recent sighting, he is getting described as very skinny lately, but then again I think he is I think he looked so much better around Green Street time myself:

Saw Elijah Wood on the F train today, all I really noticed is how absolutely tiny he is. Like kinda gross-skinny.

But on that same train I heard a quote that I thought was rather funny. A girl was talkin to a friend and she said, "This is a dog eat dog world, and I'm a cat person." I know how ya feel lady!

Thank you for the sighting! I know that, somewhere in the depths of my hard drive, I've snagged another sighting of him catching that F train! I wonder where it goes, and what F might stand for??

I was raised in New York. They have trains entitled E and F. The F train goes from Queens into the city. I took that puppy every day when I was in high school. Never saw anyone who looked even remotely as yummy as Lij!! Also: a big 'harrumph' to cuddlecub - 'kinda gross-skinny'? Them's fightin' words.

Thanks for the lowdown! :-) Can you recall what the stops are on that route? (Just out of curiosity! And I'm assuming this is perhaps an underground/ tube/ metro/ subway train or whatever it's called there).

I agree that "gross-skinny" is a bit weird ... unless someone's half-naked & emaciated-looking with ribs sticking out everywhere, I don't see what's gross about it.

If you are saying that this blogger is "fat" thats a harsh thing to snark about, just because this blogger is overweight doesn't mean that he is "jus jellus" or whatever, I am slim yet I find Elijah looking too skinny lately, that is my opinion and I'm entitled to it, like anyone is, we all have preferences when it comes to build.

Would any of his more mature/very young fans like it if they were snarked on because of their age? I highly doubt it.

In no way am I snarking on the poster because he is "fat" - I have no idea how much he weighs. If you look at his LJ, he clearly identifies himself as a bear (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bear_%28gay%29), meaning he's a gay man who's attracted to men who tend to be larger, older and more overtly "masculine"; given this, it makes sense that he probably would not find Elijah attractive. In fact, the men he does mention as finding sexy are pretty much the opposite of Elijah when it comes to stature. And he clearly is not "jellus" - far from it. He knows what kind of man he likes, is all, and Elijah ain't it.

No complaints here either, especially in the weight department since I'm constantly picked on because of my skinniness. He has come a very long way professionally over the past year, and I'm sure he has in his personal life as well.

Elijah on a train??? Seems hard to believe somehow. When you think of the media attention he attracted just this last weekend at Tribeca, it doesn't seem possible that he could use public transport, and no-one notices ..well except 'cuddlecub' and his gross comments... the guy is petite not skinny...grrrr!

I'm sure I recall that, when Elijah was filming GSH in London, he was using the tube then -- the Northern Line even! :-O He might've been wearing shades, and it could be that lots more people spotted him but they're just not blogging about it on the net! ;-)

And in any case, I'm sure there was another sighting a while back of him using the same train. Wonder where he was going? Maybe he attracts less attention to himself wherever he's going to than if he arrives by car (or stretch limo or whatever!)

He's expressed his fondness for using public transport in interviews in the past and has complained that Los Angeles needs a better public transport system. So yeah, I think it's pretty feasible he'd be taking PT, especially in NYC where it's so much easier to get around that way. Last time I was there, which admittedly was a long time ago, the streets were always clogged with cabs and limo's and not much else. If you want to get somewhere quickly, you either walk or take PT. So I can imagine that someone like Elijah who spends so much time there would pretty much live like a native when he's in town doing his own thing.

I love it that he uses PT..i just can't believe he isn't mobbed..but there again, the natives of NY are used to seeing celebs walking about the streets i suppose.

Taking the train

I remember a story he told on himself about when he was filming Eternal Sunshine...he loves taking the subway and wanted to do it for the entire shoot (guess he was at his sister's flat) and kept getting lost on the train and arriving late. So the director made him promise to make use of his car and driver...Bless 'em.
