These are from the San Diego ComiCon, 2003. Elijah and Dom were to record a quick station promo for the E! cable television network, and as a result, we got not only the promo, but some goofing around before hand and a cute clip of them confessing their crushes on a couple of girls.

Gosh haven't seen those in ages but good to see again. Of course whenever I see Elijah at that Con I recall the fact that just a week or so later he collapsed with a potentially life-threatening burst appendix. Doesn't bear thinking about what would have happened had he not been got to the hospital in time.

Oh, gosh, was it only a week later? I know the con was in mid-July (the 19th?), but I don't recall the exact date that he was hopitalized. Wow. You sure can't tell from the videos that there was any such thing impending!

It was around the end of August so if not a week, it was within a few weeks. The Sunday Mirror reported it on Aug 24th. I recall at the time people noticing him holding his arm across his stomach as though he might have been suffering a little but if he was, he never let on.

So cute! I hadn't seen the first one before. It reminds me of the video of them on stage where Elijah was doing the high-pitched screaling as well as his Ring-Wraith impersonation. Slightly disturbing that a guy can pitch his voice that high! He could out-squeal most 10 year old girls I think! :D Thanks for sharing these Bunnie.

I seem to remember that it was on or very close to August 4 that he collapsed in Debra's kitchen (thank god he was home and not on a plane or on the open highway). So it was only about 2 weeks later. Apparently it was a close call anyway. That lad will be the death of us eventually...
