I actually giggled at the Indian cemetary joke. Also the bit where it sounds like he's comfort eating poppadoms (or the gaffer is). Presumably that's why directors can get a bit tubby; comfort eating for what seems like unbelievable stress.

That had occured to me, as well. I know Gogol has a show in Moscow on the 28th, so she will have to leave sometime prior to that, if she's going to be performing. I wonder if there are other shows scheduled after that, because there's nothing else listed on the website until April or so.

LOL...well, considering some of the "sods"...and worse...in the film world, I can believe Elijah would be a breath of fresh air, as you say. I'll bet the directors he has worked with look at a script and try to figure out a way to get Elijah cast, not only for his acting skill, but because they know what a joy he is to work with.

mole_caz' post got me thinking. So I looked up the tour dates for Gogol Bordello. They are playing in Moscow on Jan 28. That's his birthday! What a pity!
