I hope you're OK. My friend aredhelebenesse wrote about the storm in her LJ today. She lives in Germany, too. It sounds terrible. She is afraid her house will be damaged.

Which are the photos for YM Magazine....the kitty hair pics? I recognize the photos used in One because I have many copies of the magazine, including that one. It's a wonderful magazine (in French) and they have awesome photos.

Hi yeuxdebleu,

Thanks for asking, I am okay. The only bad thing that the storm has brought to Berlin seems to be that it has single-handedly "closed down" the main railway station. It was brandnew and an architecturial landmark of glass and steel. Then the first storm comes along, and the oh-so-safe building looses a supporting steel joint / beam and is now considered unsafe.

Now the station is closed and the trains (local and far-reaching) don't roll there anymore, bringing problems to commuters and travellers.

But apart from that, the storm affected other areas of Germany and the countryside much, much worse than Berlin.

YM mag - yes kitty hair, green t-shirt or "the one jacket" !

Of course, they were subsequently published in other mags, so more and more of that photoshoot got known. (I wasn't in the fandom at the time, so that's what I gather from the different Elijah photo archive sites made by fans.)

I saw pictures on the news today of the storm damage in Europe. They mentioned the new train station in Berlin and how the trains weren't running. I have a friend in Plauen, in the eastern part of Germany, and the storm was very bad there, too.
