Found through Eugene Hutz's Twitter:
"EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATED CREW REUNION! SOME PEEPS ARE ALWAYS GREAT 2 C, AND ELIJAH IS ONE OF THEM!"

Great to see there's been a reunion! Hopefully this means these two are still getting on...

Here's an interview with Nina Davenport on her documentary “Operation Filmmaker” about Muthana Mohamd, the Iraqi film student.

http://www.ioncinema.com/news.php?nid=2303

Only this sentence mentioned Elijah:

“There was a line that I had to cut out where Elijah Wood says that it's possible we have given him a taste of [what] he might have, and that's it.

----------------------------------------------

And here’s another review of the documentary with this mention of Elijah:

It quickly becomes apparent to everyone involved -- from the cast and crew (many of whom, including Elijah Wood, freely offer their two cents on Mohmed) to Davenport and even the subject himself -- that Mohmed is a terrible fit for his new job.

-----------------------------------------------
Hmmm, maybe we need to see this doc for other Elijah content!

-----------------------------------------------

ETA: Here’s another review. This one has this note: It opens in New York at the IFC Film Center tomorrow and on the Island at Cinema Arts Centre on the 10th.

I’m going to have to see if it’s showing at a theater near me.

I have for your enjoyment 21 hi-res photos from the 2005 Venice Film Festival which I had never seen before today. Some are quite similar to ones I already had, but there are also some real gems, and a few which I had only ever seen in thumbnail form.

I'm afraid that this is in no way dial-up friendly )

[livejournal.com profile] angelwood found this great interview (scroll down about 3/4 of the way) that I don't think I've ever heard before. Am I wrong? Do I have it saved on a disc somewhere? I don't think so, but maybe one of you can recall it. I'd love to have a download of it.

Nearly a half hour of Elijah talking and talking! *revels*
