I read the Alex blog every day (translate it) and according to that they filmed in Bushey yesterday, and one source told me they will be there on monday too. It's at the nord of London, and easy to reach by underground.
I just tried to look up Bushey in my London A-Z, and it's just slightly off the map -- though I spotted a Wood Street and the Underhill Playing Fields, so it sounds quite hobbity! ;-)
There are some big movie studios not far away from there (Borehamwood & Elstree) but I doubt they'll be using those. I wonder exactly what kind of scenes they are filming in Bushey? Yes, I think you can get close to there on the Underground, but if you happen to be driving there is this site:

Hehe, in a way it's crazy but it might be good fun, too! :-) Again I wish you luck with it all. It's just that I would have felt bad about it, having seen your plans, if I had not spoken out about some of the difficulties you might encounter. I do know London, but I wasn't sure how familiar you are with the place.
