You guys, I'm so sorry, I have a life-altering dissertation deadline coming up on Wednesday morning and I'm drowning and not entirely sane until then. But Ljuba Kiseleva (@ljubalex), a Twitter friend (perhaps to others of you as well), tweeted this link earlier today. I've no time to post the pictures or research it further; I'm hoping maybe someone else can find out more! Apparently Elijah went to the World Famous Improv comedy club in L.A. last night and actually did some stand-up of his own. The link mentions something about him playing a comedian in an upcoming film. Eh...? Anyway, I didn't want the link to slip by unnoticed. Cheers, y'all.

Date: 2012-02-14 06:19 pm (UTC)I beg to differ Elijah's fame is quite useful and full of worth he uses his visibility for good. No doubt fame can be a waste in a Lindsay Lohan kinda way and certainly not many in Hollywood are going to cure a disease on their own.
They DO however have more opportunity to contribute and highlight specific causes. So while I love that Elijah likes to downplay his own importance and maintains that lovely Humility that we all know and love...he is kinda wrong.
