Elijah sighting....fan encounter

Feb. 20th 2008 Mercury Lounge 127 E Houston, NYC.

Just wanted to post this VERY quickly at its 230am and I literally just walked in the door.

First of all Heloise Rocks!!!!    Elijah slipped in just before they began and stood in the usual spot right hand side right up front.  Uh....thats where I was....close enough to get hit multiple times by his messenger bag, an Elbow and even get in on some conversation with his friends.

More to follow....either here or on my LJ page, I'll let you know.   He was alone and I heard him say he was flying out at 9am 2/21....sorry didn't catch the destination...but he does love those independent spirit awards so perhaps he's headed out to LA.

Anyway quickly...he was extremely animated and happy..whooping, (Literally) and applauding...and as previously described here rocking out....wearing a light green(I think it was dark in there), collared shirt, hooded  gray sweatshirt, "signature" jeans, (my favs ) and the black converse sneakers....new leather messenger bag however packs a wallop.  He had a few beers and even held the plastic cup with his teeth so he could applaud appropriately.

I know that sounds like a lot of info but......there are more details to share.

Sorry no pics...I was too close to be unintrusive so I refrained and just enjoyed the view.


Most amusing comment from my husband,  "God, I had no idea he was that small, but you're right he's adorable....if I swung that way."  LOL.
fan girl moment....I took some streamers home that were hung over his shoulders by Heloise....it was falling off and I absconded with it.   Great night....!!!!!


Later guys..I gotta get some sleep and compose this into a chronological tale....
