I posted this video I made in my journal, but I thought I would bring it here to share with all Elijah fans. I hope you enjoy it. :)

One other thing. The SAG awards airs tonight. Not that Elijah will be there, but I got this little prediction blurb from TV Guide:

Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture
Babel
Bobby
The Departed
Dreamgirls
Little Miss Sunshine

Should win: Little Miss Sunshine, because it's a textbook example of a film in which the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. No one is trying to upstage anyone else and everyone's pulling together.
Will win: Bobby, because size counts, and I can see SAG voters getting into the mix of big stars, character actors, TV actors and up-and-comers, all swirled together into a big honking emote-o-fest.
Out in the cold: The Good Shepherd, Infamous, A Prairie Home Companion, For Your Consideration.

It'll be interesting to see if their prediction is right. :)

Flipping through my February issue of Spin magazine today, there are a few teeny articles pertaining to Elijah in one way or the other. No need to rush out and get the magazine for the little tidbits.

First, in the section called The Spin 20 Ranking on Pop Culture Since 1998:

#7) ELIJAH WOOD LAUNCHES A RECORD LABEL: Watch for Precious and Few; Gollum sings the Hits!
-Don't worry. This section lovingly ranks on everyone. :)

And in the same section:
#12) AT LONG LAST, A NEW STOOGES ALBUM; David Bowie's been waiting 35 years to ruin it.

-OK, so it's not directly related to Elijah, but I found it interesting. This new album which comes out in March may tie in somehow down the road with Elijah and The Passenger.

Then there is a new CD review section and they give The Apples In Stereo - New Magnetic Wonder four out of four stars!

Indie craftsmen stop fiddling, lets melodies shine through.

They basically say that on Elijah's first CD release on Simian, ...The album gets back to the core - simple, catchy, unabashedly, cheery. New Magnetic Wonder couldn't be brighter if it had been performed on the sun.

This should make Elijah very proud and happy. :)

Also, there is an article on Robbie Rist. You remember that little annoying kid cousin on The Brady Bunch? That's him. I didn't read the entire thing, but it looks like he's into the same gig as Elijah. Hell! If there's an article on him, can Elijah be far behind?
