Random Photo Phinds . . .

They're not very sensational, and this time, there's not really a "revelation" among them. But I just wanted to present to you the "harvest" of the past weeks of searching . . .
I expect the more experienced collectors and researchers will already have them, so this post is mainly for those with the medium sized collections . . .
( In case you are wondering, I've read the rules again : no source links in photo posts - so even though most of the pictures are from public places in the internet, like buzznet or flickr, I think I'll refrain from linking to the original pages I've got them from . . . )
Note : Once again, some of these are without Elijah, but they are for those among you who are interested in the event as such or are interested in other members of "The Fellowship" . . .

Next up are several pictures from the same event / period of time. It seems, the cast of Lord Of The Rings and their spectators had a very carefree time in Wellington, New Zealand, where they dwelt for a few days for the World Premiere of "The Return Of The King" in late November / early December 2003. Here are a few glimpses of what happened during these days - these are only like a caleidoscope - only moments in time (which happened to find their way into my collection during these past few weeks, unless noted otherwise) :
The whole town of Wellington was celebrating The Lord Of The Rings. So it's no wonder even the New Zealand Post / Mail had the following display / billboard ( presumably in front of one of their Wellington Post Offices ? ) :

The New Zealand newspaper "Dominion Post" ran an article on November 27th, using the following picture of Billy Boyd arriving at WLG airport, on their front page, which didn't go by unnoticed by Billy :
Viggo Mortensen had an exhibition of his photographs at Massey University, the opening of which attracted several of his cast mates :
November 30th saw a press conference at Wellington's famous Te Papa Museum :
I particularly like this press conference for a few Billy / Elijah bonding scenes (the following three pictures are old pictures from my collection, not recent finds) :

Elijah must have changed clothes during the day, for the following pictures (old pictures, not recend finds) where he's wearing that striking purple paisley shirt ( of whichrandom_fandom has recently posted a few Japanese photos ), are also from November 30th :

In the night between November 30th and December 1st, there must have been yet another reception - or a party ?
December 1st started with a reception at New Zealand's Parliament, under attendance of the Prime Minister :
Then there was the famous red carpet parade to Courtenay Place for the World Premiere screening of "Return Of The King" (only recent finds here) :

And even the departure of the cast from Wellington Airport became something of a happening (only recent finds here) :

I myself am a relative newcomer to the fandom, so, no, I neither have a larger version of the "Elijah kissing Gollum at the TORN Oscar party" pic by Robert Lee nor of the "Elijah outside the press tent / Independent Spirit Awards" pic by Brian Brooks. Maybe other fans, who have been longer in the fandom than me, can help you out. If you should find larger versions of any of these pictures, I'd be much obliged if you would share them with me ! :o)
If you are patient, I could upload all the 2001 Wellington pics I have, but they are a) few, and b) none of them is hi-res.

As the picture above is kind of advertising the video, one should think, the video is featuring a glimpse of Elijah with her. But noooo - all there is is footage of the little South African penguins being herded along the carpet, and she enthusing about it and making little jokes about it - and there's not a trace of Elijah !!! *frustrated* :o(
