If you'd have posted it already, I'd just have deleted (or vice versa). It's a nice, casual photo for all that they are posed. They clearly are just in a hotel room without a lot of fuss.

Insomniacs R Us. They do say if you can't sleep, get up and do something. Possibly they don't mean find photos of Elijah standing in hip/arse emphasising poses though. They really mean something like knitting that will send you to sleep.

I can't help but love his lanky body, low rider pants...big feet converse. He's adorable. Heloise needs to roll it in. I am pretty funky, but the red tights and gold shirt thingy and hair is the WORST of the end of the 70s. Actually, they didn't do the under dark root thing (unless unintentionally). This hurts me looking at her. But not him. sighs. hugs, v

Oh yes I have...well, live on Ytube. I really like her (them)! I can't understand why someone would go this bizarre route for a photoshoot, article. Believe me, I am very open. This look was not one that would relate to many. In this picture, she looks totally tasteless even in the funkiest sense. Maybe if they had been doing something, hugging, relating, looking crazy. It was just one moment. I probably shouldn't have commented. I do like this group. They aren't original, but they are fun. hugs lots v

Oh, no, I didn't mean to imply I was criticising you! Certainly you are entitled to your opinion, and yeah, I agree she doesn't look stunning or anything... Which, I guess, is part of why I so like her personally.

If you ever get the chance, do go see H&TSF in person... They do put on quite a show!

I'm coming out all wrong. I like this group. I don't feel they are super original. I came from the 70s/80s (I like alternative now). I do think GB is totally orginal. This group isn't, but for this generation, they are. I just can't stand what she's wearing in this and her look. I like her looks in her performances. It was just this shot..and those red tights and shirt. icky to me. Its just me. Its really not them personally.

I think you and I are both falling prey to the inability of the written word on its own to convey a complete message. I felt like I had come across as harsh toward you, so wanted to clear that up. And I agree Heloise and her band are not super original... but perhaps because I come from "a time long long ago" that some elements of their music remind me of, I like them even better than I otherwise might. And I agree that GB (whom I have not seen in person) is totally original. I love their sound... not so sure I would be comfortable doing anything other than lurking on the fringe of one of their performances.

But enough about Elijah's bands and their fashion sense or lack thereof, etc. I'd really rather look at amd talk about him, anyway. ;-)

Last time I saw them (a couple weeks ago in Brooklyn), her hair was totally blond. I'm not sure if maybe that's just shadow. Either that or she's dyed it in the last couple weeks...which is totally possible LOL

They make an odd couple lookswise in those photos but I love it that they seem such great friends - really at ease and in synch with one another. It's nice that Elijah has signed someone who seems so nice and original. Unfortunately I think the group's stage image seems a bit amateurish. Like kids playing dress ups but perhaps they will evolve as time goes by. I'm starting to wonder though if they will ever find the success Elijah feels they deserve. Nice pics and a lovely article - thank you!
