He did look pained in some of those didn't he? But serenely beautiful all the same. It's interesting to note the subtle changes in his face and although he still looks essentially the same, he is starting to lose the softness of his features. His face is becoming a little 'harder' to my mind and more masculine. When you see a face day in, day out, you don't notice the small changes but looking back at these, you do.
