New/old pic?

elijah_findsSometimes I find a pic that I don't have and know I've never seen before, but the more I look at it, the more familiar it seems. *scratches head* Is it the Elijah effect?
Some of you may not have seen it, so:
Wouldn't it be a great advert for Perrier Water? *g* The avid look on Elijah's face, the way he whirls toward it and that there's only one bottle on the tray... How many ads has he done anyway? There was the Lays ad, the Gap one, the Tommy Hilfiger, the Intel ad - I know that his photoshoots are also ads for the outfits he wears, but were there any more?

Date: 2007-07-02 04:14 am (UTC)As for ads that he's done, well when he was a kid he did a few tv ones. As well as Wavy Lays, I think there was also a Cheese sauce one and a Pizza hut one, both of which I have videos of.
Was there a video of the Gap one? Or was that just a billboard. I'd love to see a video of it if there was one.

and the rock to vote campaign for mtv. this one was on tv, but he was seen for a split second. i think he was in two of these campaign ads in different years. lij also did an online ad sorta thing for apple ipod back in 2004 i think it was.

It's as if gets something specific in mind when he gets dressed for an event, and nothing will sway him from it :) either that, or he really does feel the cold..poor lamb!

Date: 2007-07-02 09:49 pm (UTC)I never can quite decide how to file my pics. I started off last year, when i first joined this fandom, with ALL the pics i found in one folder..omg! I had no idea, what went where , or just how many there were up for grabs.. it was a shock when i realised! Then i sorted them into single pics, and ones with him and someone else..but that didn't work either. Now i'm trying for some sort of organisation and getting them into events, which is fine for the recent ones, but doesn't help for the hundreds i have already saved with no idea where they're from..lol!! It's gonna take me a while i think!

Date: 2007-07-04 08:04 pm (UTC)I organise my Elijah (not Frodo) folder into subfolders - premieres, music and film festivals, awards, etc. When I started collating them several years ago, (they used to be Elijah1, 2, 3...*eyeroll*), so as soon as I identified the origin of a batch, I'd bung them in a folder and use ReName software to change all the filenames to the correct ones. Say - ISA2004-1 and so on. It was a great help.
