...is that perhaps a Gogol Bordello shirt on the girl in front of him?

According to the notes (this was on Flickr), it was taken on June 9, 2007, but I don't know if that's correct or not.

Seems likely that it was GB that he was watching, then. I don't keep track of their show schedule, so I'm not sure.

I would assume that, but.. look at the background.. there's a video camera, and a bunch of people back in seats way from the stage.. That's not a typical GB set up, I would think. (This going off my *one* experience where I was in a small venue against the stage)

I did find that they played "Sat 06/09 - Aspen, CO Belly Up Aspen". Aah.. and doing more research on it I see "The Belly Up is a general admission venue with limited fixed seating." That must be what that is then?

Could be. The Flickr account specified Red Rocks, but the person who posted it didn't take the photo, so they may have been mistaken.

Gogol Bordello performed in Red rock a month ago, so it may be possable he went to one of their shows and whatever other shows that were happening there.
