I'm thinking with more real life experience, especially having now been in a long-term relationship, Elijah will be more comfortable in portraying his own sexuality on screen. One can only hope!!
I'm sure you're right that his greater experience will pay off for this movie. His awkwardness in AIW kind of worked because he was supposed to be on 17, at least IMHO.
