Elijah Wood thanked you in a Golden Globes acceptance speech for Lord of the Rings. What drink was he thanking you for?

Hundreds of them. He was one of my best customers but he loved Moscow Mules more than anything else, a classic combo of 42 Below vodka, fresh lime and ginger beer, from 1940s Hollywood.

Did you think of inventing a cocktail named after him called the Frodo?

I think in New Zealand there are enough things that are inspired by Rings, so we didn't want to saturate the market. We did however have a cocktail named for Shelob, the giant spider. It was a hangover cure, and not very pleasant, but it certainly did the trick.

hehe! I've made that drink when randomly drink mixing with some friends... now I know it has an official type name... and elijah drinks it ;)
