They're both part of the crew, the blonde haired girl does make-up and costume and I'm not sure what the others were doing but they're definitely crew. Elijah was gossiping with them quite a bit this afternoon.
Elijah had persuaded the girl in red to do a cartwheel for the video - I was watching this little episode - think it was today but could have been yesterday - so much to remember!!
How cool is it that we have first-hand accounts of this from both the director and the fans? :D The text that goes with that pic translates something like this:
Elijah managed, I don't know how, to get the Australian Blonde, the girl standing next to him (the smiling woman from costumes) to do a cartwheel on the set, and he took some pictures. Things that go on.
I wouldn't have recognized the word for cartwheel without these other comments. Also, from the end of the entry (not about Elijah but interesting!):
Apart from that, leaving aside the damn inserts, everything went marvelously well. I finished the lecture sequence with a ton of shots, really rich, and Mr. Hurt comes out as superb as ever. It's surprising, because he was feeling uncomfortable with the extras gone. As I mentioned, yesterday we had four hundred people, but today we had fifty. John needed the people. It wasn't the same, acting in front of a room packed with audience members, as with a bunch of empty chairs. Still, the fact that PRECISELY for that reason today's takes are better is remarkable, they're dryer, harder. The mysterious, extremely complex and absorbing world of acting.
