Cool!!! I'm glad the video has found some of Elijah's fans! He definitely had a great time, I wish I could have gone to the post-party and actually met him, but alas.....I had to fade out the crowd audio b/c a few more seconds and you'd've heard my wife and her friend from NY screaming 'FRODO!FRODO!!' :)

I've read the accounts of people who actually met him at the party, and they all said he enjoyed himself - but watching your vid, I know he did. And he's said many times that he loves your beautiful city (and it will be the way it was again) and the friendly people who live there. I wish I had been lucky enough to have enjoyed Mardi Gras with him.

I believe Bunnie did a post about that when the comm started, but the keywords that probably brought it up were mardi gras 2004 bacchus although I think elijah wood would have done just as well. I always set my Google alerts to "comprehensive" and "as-it-happens", and try to be as specific as I can.

I believe that you need a yahoo account to do it, though. Be prepared to get a ton of stuff - most of which you don't want. I get them, lj alerts and stuff from my yahoo lists, and it takes me a while to wade through everything. But sometimes I find a gem like the above, and it's all worth it. :)
