Hmmmm! Is she sure she was watching Elijah?

3:30 PM - Went to the Bust party to meet some journalists, check our our venue for our showcase later that evening and caught Elijah Wood (the hobbit guy) spin. He sucked for the part that I heard him. He stood on stage. No elaborate equipment. Like, seriously an ipod and a mixer. Played with his ipod, played old songs that didn't really sound any different and didn't even look like he wanted to be there.

Yeah, and when he's DJing, he's all about the music, not making an impression with himself. So if this person was looking for the DJ to be a "show", she would have been disappointed. But to me, he's just right. :-)

You know I would love to 'listen' to him then because one thing that really irritates me no end are a couple of DJs wittering on inanely about all and sundry instead of telling us who's track we are listening to! Seems maybe the young lady wouldn't agree with me on this one!
