It makes the changes quite obvious. The face is longer, the cheeks thinner, but he still looks just as beautiful.

Thanks for sharing the link. Such a nice promotional still. Can't wait to get it bigger.
It's interesting for us Elijah fans. Elijah is lucky that, at 31, he is still looking so youthful. But those among us fans whose gazes are fine-tuned to his facial features, will never mix up LOTR-Frodo and The Hobbit-Frodo. Elijah as Frodo is still looking young, yet more matured. But I guess, with all the skipping and hopping around we've seen in the early trailer, we can still maintain the illusion in our minds, that this is still the ' kid ' looking forward to his and Bilbo's combined birthday party.
Matured Frodo ( I think I have a thing for him ) doesn't have to be a bad thing either - thus the LOTR-book purists will finally have a Frodo closer in age to book-Frodo . . .
