New work for Elijah?

Have anyone more information about this?

Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring's remake of Das Experiment has casted four interesting actors: Elijah Wood, Forest Whitaker, Cam Gigandet and Adrien Brody. THE EXPERIMENT will begin shooting next month in Des Moines, Iowa.  Marty Adelstein, Dawn Parouse, Bill Johnson, Scott Nemes and Paul Scheuring are producing the film.

The movie is about a behavioral experiment simulating the conditions of life in a state penitentiary takes a dark turn when the Experiment goes out of control.

I haven't seen the original movie but I did see a documentary about the Standford Prison Experiment that the movie apparently based on.

Pretty heavy stuff. This could be very interesting. I guess only time will tell if Elijah has indeed been cast in the movie.

Thanks!

Exactly - I've logged this away and we'll so what transpires.

Dark Horizons had reports dating back to 2006 about this film

Although this one looks to be a different project:

Sorry that's all I could find!

- Interesting !

In 2007, this project was listed at IMDB as being "in pre - production", the last time the IMDB page was updated was in May 2007, when the film was reported to be in the stage of "casting".

See archived version of page (http://web.archive.org/web/20071019022328/http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0997152/)

Today, the IMDB link

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0997152/

is broken, the page doesn't exist any more.

Here's to hoping that more details will surface soon, that will either confirm or deny Elijah's involvement in the project.

Love,

- Karin.

Oh wow, that movie is brilliant. I've seen it and it is just WOW! I'm not sure why it needs a remake but to see Elijah will be in it... ;-)

that would be a fantastic line-up of actors and it is just the sort of project Elijah would choose to do because it really has depth. Hope to hear more one way or the other about this asap. There are v few films being made at the moment of any value - they're mostly boring remakes and trivial action thrillers etc. If this film was made - and especially with that exceptionally heavyweight line-up - it would be a v refreshing change.

hmm, i've seen the original only partially but the casting looks really interesting and with such a dark movie, i can't wait to see what comes of it!
