Photoshoot video

Woooooooooot! There's a video of that photoshoot (the lovely dramatic one also featuring the silly lumberjack shirt and braces pics) up on youtube. It's amazing how heavy his makeup is - and I love the really genuine big smile for Alex. Or have I missed it in the Bust-rush and it's already been posted?

He really does lead a strange, high-powered life, doesn't he? He's so quiet (as a rule) and gentle and friendly around 'civilians' that seeing all the paraphernalia (makeup, lights, clothing changes) really makes it hit home that he is a professional, a star, a giant in his field. He can work a shoot, can't he???

Woooot indeed ! I think I am getting addicted ! Elijah high on adrenaline, giving it all for the photographer - WOW ! I am loving this.

And I agree, didn't think that what looked so shiny in the photos was looking so 'heavy' (I am talking about the make-up) in real life !

And now I want ALL the other shots they had from him on that laptop ! Gimme, gimme, gimme ! *nervous breakdown*

Uhhh - what ? Oh, yeah :

Love,

- Karin.

Haha, the preparations and extreme measures fashion photography goes through to get shots has always been incredibly strange to me. Thanks for the video! It's always nice to be reminded of the reality that goes on behind the scenes.

I had not seen this before. Thanks for sharing it. Indeed, he is the consummate professional, even under the corniest circumstances. ;D

Really fascinating video! I'd get bored and antsy right away, but he seems very professional and friendly about the whole thing. What a world.

Oh, my god, this is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Fabulous! I wish the quality were better -- it's a bit hard to see. But, OMG, it's SO COOL. Thank you for posting it.

BTW -- I don't think it's the same shoot as the other one... this is obviously a studio, whereas the other one seemed to all be on location. Also, I don't recognize any of the clothing (even the checked shirt was worn differently). A magazine we missed, perhaps?

Guh! OMG this is the most fantastic find!

And to think, there are probably hundreds of photos we'll probably never see! Waaah! lol!

I just loved this. Thanks so much for finding it, Sneaking.

Wow. Quite an eye opener. Turning it on and off like that!

Makes me want to see more - and definitely the magazine!

OMG>> I love watching him 'at work'...That guy is so amazing isn't he! We all see him as a normal ordinary kind of guy, when really he's far from it... a super professional if ever there was one. He can change from 'work' to 'normal' mode and back again, with lightening speed.. so fast you can hardly notice the difference...awesome!

Thanks for this .. it's BRILLIANT!!

...and that hair..*g*..

This is wonderful. Something we never get to see! I love how he seems mostly interested in the camera gear rather than in being the "subject" of the shoot. I bet he was really dying to be on the other side of the camera! :D Thanks so much for posting those. I have to say I'm glad they left out the gold lame poncho from the published pics!

Thanks for this great find !

I love this video to pieces. It's unreal to me how he can sit SO patiently while people manhandle him like he's a piece of the set. For my part, I go absolutely bats**t when people mess around with my eyes, and I have NO EARTHLY IDEA how he tolerates it, especially while wearing contacts! It must take an astronomically strong personality to endure this sort of handling and not develop some sort of raging identity crisis.
