thanks for the link. i gave in & installed the darn thing. i dont understand why VLC won't play certain flv files for me but will plays others just fine :( so for the RIVA flv player, is there a way to maximize the window cuz it's so small for me lol. thank ya!

i recommend downloding the VLC videoplayer from videolan.org - it plays .flv and pretty much everything else. (vlc is video encapsulated in a Flash file format, I think)
