I haven't even read the entry yet, but this was just too cute. Lucky girls!

I can't figure out what camera it is. My best guess is that it's a Canon 5D or something like that (top of the line, pro level DSLR). He's definitely got an L-series (again top of the line, pro-quality) lens on it (that red ring on the end of the camera is a give away of that). Very expensive.

Although if he was taking a video, it can't be a DLSR. So, I must be entirely wrong. Definitely L-series lens though.

I know quite a lot about Canon cameras, and I'm trying to figure out which lens it is. It doesn't look short enough for the 17-40, so I'm wondering if it is the 28-80mm lens. I soooo want that lens!

:D

Couldn't indentify the lens either, though what you say sounds about right (it definitely does not look like the 17-40 to me). I'm still pretty much a beginner (got my first DSLR last year and I'm been a bit slack over the winter) so you'll know better than I will.

I figured out about his camera system. Probably they are
EOS 30D.

and
EF24-105mm F4L IS USM
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=149&modelid=11924

EOS 30D is not for professional photographer, also definitely not for beginners.
I do not know those prices in United States. In Japan, EOS 30D is about $1500 and EF24-105mm Lens is about $1800.
I remembered some photographs that Lij purchased something in the camera shop last year.
(Though I can't remember exact date)
I guessed he bought the newest product. Because EOS 30D was released March 2006 in Japan.

How do you think?
