Pictures from today's Q&A at Ringling College
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there was a professional photographer somewhere on the premises.... Click through to make them not quite so squished. (Can anybody tell me how to make them not automatically squish up like this? How to just post them at the size they are? I am tech-stupid about these things.)
Source. (I love that her caption is "He's so handsome in person ♥"!)

He did a lot of Q&A stage work a few years ago at Cons. I was lucky enough to see him on a stage very similar a few years ago at LFCC. He's funny and eloquent, thoughtful and polite. Added to that is the ever present light that seems to shine from him. And yes, he is even lovelier in person. No picture will ever do him complete justice.
If you post pictures using a site like Photobucket then you should be able to post them at their original size.. although, it's recommended not to make them too big here as it makes it difficult for some to view them. Karin or Patrick should be able to give you more info.

If you save the pictures to your hard drive then you can post them here the same way you post to your own journal.

You're so lucky to have gotten to see Elijah at LFCC! I would love to hear him speak in person. He's so good at talking about what he does and how he does it; I think I would never get tired of listening to him. But I might need him to just stand there for a few minutes before he started to talk, you know, until my brain could unfreeze from the paralysis induced by his absolute physical perfection.
I can't tell how big the venue is. You're right, the microphone suggests it's a big room. The way the students seem to be in a half-round around him suggests "lecture hall" to me, which could be a really high-ceilinged room with lots of tiers of seats. My lecturing-professor instinct tells me it's not big enough to hold 500+ people, though... but yeah, that's just instinct talking.

I know exactly what you mean. Every time i've been lucky enough to be in his presence my brain completely freezes over and speech is totally impossible ;)

I don't use the LJ gallery for that reason. If you save photos at Photobucket, you can check the box under the photo, go to the bottom of the page and choose "Generate link codes", choose the code for LJ (it's the top code), and then you have a clickable thumbnail. It's what I always do for really large photos. This isn't an Elijah pic, just the first large one I could think of.

So, I guess today was a little meet&greet, Q&A thing.
