Yes, goodness knows how he ended up with the nickname Sblomie. I guess maybe it was just a fun name that evolved as a corrupton of Dom/Dommie/Sblommie. All I know is that in a public chat session on Billy Boyd's website some years ago, Elijah referred to Dom as Sblomie or Sblom and himself as Doodle. (That's if if my memory serves me.) You probably already knew about that, but I didn't find out about the chat session until I asked the question on my LJ: Is Elijah's fan-fic nickname of "Doodle" based in reality? Some lovely person told me about the chat session and gave me the transcript. I still have the transcript if you'd like it.
