Thanks so much - I loved his appearance on SNL and thought he did a really good job. I esp. love the choir boy and Boy George!!

Like Yukisherry, I have been looking *everywhere* for this for quite a while. Thanks to elijah_finds, I've been able to see/save most of the segments, but there are some here that I hadn't even seen before. This is perfect -- no ads, no Jet :-), but all the delightful Elijah.

(BTW, sorry to go on as long as I am about to do in a comment, but this has TOTALLY made my day...I've watched it four times just while writing this. Anyone who reads this, thanks for your patience with the following gush! :-) )

I especially love all the singing he does in this. He has such a cool voice -- over a two-octave range, not to mention that extra HIGH note (er, screech) at the end of the choir sketch. (It *is* an actual note, around a G *above* high C.) And in the 3rd song in the eggnog sketch, he can really spit out the "Donadonadonadonatella", which is a bit of a tonguetwister at that speed.

And those faux teeth in the comics sketch -- they *really* change his face a lot. An intriguing change, too -- he's still handsome but in a sort of generic way. (Oddly enough, at times he reminds me of Elvis!) His real face is so much more interesting. Though the falsies do give him a Seanwisian overbite.

And finally I got to see the ice skating at the end!! He's so cute doing those bendover glides under people's arms. Completely adorkable!

Now I know there are always quick costume/makeup changes on shows like this, but I am amazed that they were able to get him into/out of the Boy George makeup in real time. Maybe the news segment was just before it? (ETA: Yes, and a Jet performance before Weekend Update. And another non-Elijah sketch after the eggnog. Yay for SNL Transcripts (http://snltranscripts.jt.org/03/03h.phtml)!)

It's inevitable. Every time some lovely new (if only to me) goodie like this pops up, I fall in love with him all over again. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

*wanders off with a silly grin, singing "I see your true colors, that's why I love you..." :-)*

... so THANK YOU AGAIN JARAMAJO !!!

You bet! I found the transcripts site sometime last year during my hunt for the video -- glad you like it.

Would love to see an actual VHS tape (or a DVD if this episode ever makes it onto one) just for the size and detail. My Windows videoplayer only displays it at about 4"x5". Although I am likely doing something wrong. :-) But it is SOOOOOOOOO wonderful to get to see *all* the Elijah parts, so much better than in the YouTube versions I've seen.

Thanks again !

Ah the memories...one of my favorite all time Elijah guest spots favorite moment seeing him ice skate at the end....so graceful...lol

Oh now I know why he looked so weird in that sketch (second last pic). It's the fake teeth. Somehow Elijah just suits gappy baby teeth! Thank you for sharing these.

Yes that's right he did! Somehow I think the Deep Impact ones suited him better than these ones. I guess with a serious film they spent more time making them looking like his own.

I have downloaded to enjoy later ... thank you so much!!!
