A fun little tidbit

I was poking around (as you do) and found an article dated March 3, 2007, but I do believe that it's from January '06 (surely it wouldn't be January of this year? I'm losing track of dates, here):

Stranded on a corner with Elijah Wood and Billy Boyd

EDIT: [livejournal.com profile] sssneaking figured it out: it was the Sundance Film Festival of '05. Weird that it's dated so recently!

hehehe.. that's a pretty good story.

i'll tell you what. if it were me, and i had my truck ready to serve, i wouldn't care what was in the back seat because they both would be in the front with me.

no dirty minds here. :)

thanks for that. it was just what i needed.

Thanks for the article. Cute!

I believe On a Clear Day was shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival when EII was. So this must have happened in August, 2005. I wonder why "Frankie" didn't post the story until March 3, 2007. The movie has been out for a long time.

I'll bet Billy called someone he knew in Edinburgh and that's who came to pick them up.

What a lovely article! Very low key, no gushing, but still managed to convey Elijah's class and beauty! Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks, bunnie. Cute story - and how like them to be so low key about it? Can you imagine many other celebrities who would have been that cool about it? Why couldn't they need a ride when I'm around? *sigh*

That's a great story. Thanks for the link. :-)

What a nice read and a lovely description of Elijah! I can squee at the thought of two hobbits together and feel pride that they were such gentlemen - in the truest sense of the word. *sighs*

I was poking around (as you do)

HART

His skin seemed translucent and unbelievably clear. His brown hair still had childlike softness and his slight build made it easy to believe he had just arrived from Middle-Earth.

i adore that description

Thanx for the link and cute story!

45 min is a long wait! I would have offered a lift in my truck so quickly, and even let Elijah be the first person to smoke in it!

I'm sure I wouldn't have been that patient! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing this interesting and well-written story. Billy and Elijah are such darlings! :)

They are both so sweet.

Was this guy gay or something?? lmao

wasnt this the same festival where there was a vid of him puttin on lip balm and Pam was sat next to him, if so I'm surprised that Pam wasn't with them or even Ali, Billy's longtime girlfriend.
