I've just notice (thanks to the pause button), that the item Elijah is smashing against the fridge/wall/whatever is his MacBook (i.e. presumably his novel). That's interesting. I didn't catch that watching the trailer.

The trailer is soooooo dark a lot of things don't show up. But, thankfully, some LJers are busy making lightened screencaps and an amazing amount of detail suddenly appears. \O/
