yay thanks for the find! :D yeah, what do you use for your alerts' keywords? i just keep getting the same recycled junk from google, nothing good so far :| maybe we should make some kind of post about it for everyone to see?

I believe Bunnie did a post about that when the comm started, but the keywords that probably brought it up were mardi gras 2004 bacchus although I think elijah wood would have done just as well. I always set my Google alerts to "comprehensive" and "as-it-happens", and try to be as specific as I can.

oh ok cool thanks! :) yea I'm still new to the whole getting alerts thing so I wasn't sure if to do as it happens/etc or what. do you know how to get the yahoo alerts? or are they basically the same thing?

I believe that you need a yahoo account to do it, though. Be prepared to get a ton of stuff - most of which you don't want. I get them, lj alerts and stuff from my yahoo lists, and it takes me a while to wade through everything. But sometimes I find a gem like the above, and it's all worth it. :)
