I've now put up a new entry explaining why I was so pleased with what he said during the interview -- hope that explains things a bit better! I never lost my Frodo-squee, but I just felt that today's RL Elijah was moving too far away from LOTR for me to be able to feel OK with it. Recent events have helped to bring me round quite a lot!
